Welcome to the historic
Jameson House, now a bed and breakfast in Fulton, Missouri. The Jameson family lived in this home
from initial construction of the "old part" of the house in the late
1850s through the addition of the "new part" around 1885.
The house is
believed to have been
designed by Missouri architect, M.F. Bell, a resident of Fulton and
partially known for incorporating a "bell shape" into many of his homes.
The Jameson family was in "livery" and later opened one of the first
Ford dealerships in the country.
You'll feel like royalty
as you enter the Grand Hall with its magnificent parquet floor and burl
walnut archway. In the adjoining parlor filled with Victorian antiques,
a cozy fireplace beckons in winter and tall bay windows bring in
summer's cheerful light. Gentlemen will marvel at the unique
architecture of the house, while ladies delight in its vintage appeal.

Room Descriptions
Beautiful maroon, forest green, and golden jewel tones color this lovely suite,
delightfully decorated with musical and writing themes. Charlotte
Jameson, the last in a long line of Jamesons to live in the house,
taught voice and music at nearby William
Woods University--and your host Cate, is a writer and writing a book on the history of the Jamesons. You'll spend a
restful night in the engraved antique queen-size bed with its cozy feather
mattress, warmed by the glow of the fireplace, after basking in the
solarium bath's spa tub for two. Explore shelves lined with books and
treasures, from a real gramophone to delicately tuned music boxes to a
vintage typewriter. Regular rate is $169. December through January all room rates less $20.
